Stachura's zig zag machine

Hello Helpers,

David Stachura has two Zig-ZAG machines for corrugating wire and
sheet. They are $50 and $75.

They can’t tell me the size or guage sterling they accomodate or the
size of the "V"s (corrugations) that each machine produces. Is there
anyone out there that either has one of these or can point me in the
right direction.

I tried to find the mfgr. on line to get some help but could not
find them. They look like they might produce nice effects.

Thank you, Richard Langbert

Uhhh not to dwell on negativity or point out the obvious but… if
the manufacturer cant tell you the machines capacity or capabilities
should’nt this be a clue as to why you should consider not buying it? -

I have both of these and they’re great for some things.

I have not done enough experimentation to know the precise
parameters that work/don’t work for each option of each roller. I do
note that the finest wheels of the smaller one are probably only
useful for foil… or for creating wire snippets for making
consistent granules or something.

They seem well engineered; whether they’re useful or not is more of
a question. I’ve definitely used both of them for some things, but
I’ve also run into frustrations. Had I world enough and time, I’d do
a comprehensive series of tests, but there’s usually something more
pressing.

Sorry I can’t be of more help! I will say they seem like
nicely-built equipment, but I can’t say whether they’d be useful for
any particular thing offhand, without knowing more about the
potential use.
