[Source] Tiny round stone suppliers?

I have a customer who wants a half mm sized yellow stone flush set
into a ring. Are their any stones besides diamonds that cut this
small? If you know any tiny (<1mm) faceted stone suppliers, please
let me know.

Citrine would be my recommend, be I have not any sources that go
below 2mm, but i am have been setting stones for a few years, and my
sources are minute. Best of luck, blessings, pat

I’m sure there are many stones cut that small, but I would recommend
either a diamond or a sapphire. In that size, neither stone is going
to cost much at all, and both are hard to break and very sparkly.
And, of course, sapphires come in just about every imaginable color.

Hi,

I work with 5 other cutters here in Jaipur, India. We cut down to
1mm sizes, rbc. That is tiny.

I have these stones/colors 1-3mm

Red Spinel, Pink Spinel, Black Spinel, Orange ‘Mandarin’ Garnet,
Md-Lt Orange Garnet, Green Peridot, and now cutting Green Tsavorite
(all shades)

The closest to yellow will be a slightly orange yellow garnet.

I can sell in the $60/ct range. In 1mm this is more than 100 stones.
