I am a Silversmith and Jewelry Artist from Marquette, Michigan in the Upper Peninsula. Much of my jewelry is inspired by my surroundings, including the shorelines of Lake Superior. In some of my work I am using beach glass and beach rocks that are found on the shorelines of the Great Lakes. The majority of my work is created in my small in-home studio. In May of 2008 I will have a bachelor of fine arts in Metalsmithing at Northern Michigan University. I have also studied at the University of Wisconsin in Marinette. I have always been involved in art, but after taking a few classes in Metalsmithing, I have found a medium of great interest to me. I have been making beaded jewelry since elementary school.
