If price is a factor, as with Fire Mountain Gems, Rio Grande is a
terrible source for italian chain.
Unless you’re buying extremely small quantities, Italian chain
should only be bought from a company whose primary business is
wholesaling Italian chain. Companies who specialize in Italian chain
sell a lot more of it, and as a result they price it by weight and
work on much smaller margins.
No offense to anyone, nor to Fire Mountain or Rio; they are both
great companies and I buy from both of them, but not Italian chain.
