Hoover and Strong carries it.
You could try Chemgold ( http://www.chemgold.com/) in Australia. They carry an alloy called AGPD. I am just trying it out and so far it looks and feels like Continuum.
They do not sell to the public.
Chemgold also doesn’t sell to the public according to their website
You could try registering with Chemgold as I did. I didn’t have any problems.
Great, thanks. I just registered. I hope I can order from them
As far as I can see, you make jewellery, therefore you are a jeweller
Hope it works out for you.
Thanks, they are in the process of “reviewing” my application
I’ve heard nothing back from chemgold regarding my “application” and they have not responded to a subsequent email. It’s curious to me why this alloy is so difficult for a non-professional to obtain. I’m very interested in having an opportunity to try this metal and would buy some privately if anyone had a surplus.
Well that is just rude, not responding to you. I do hope someone in you country can supply you something. I am too far away really to help and the shipping overseas is a nightmare at time. Good luck!
Sorry to post on this old thread, but I have been casting for 40yrs and palladium/silver alloys for 25+ years.
A quick reply -
Stuller - Not enough palladium <3% I talked to the metals department many times about a higher palladium alloy. I just couldn’t talk then into it. May be now with $3200 gold they will revisit this idea.
I do not work for and am not in any way related to United precious metals, but they have the best palladium silver alloys. Doc whips this stiff up. lol He’s great!
Silvadium-1 = 6.3% - the one I have used the most. This cast kind of between sterling and gold temp wise. I always over flux this stuff. I don’t know if it is good or bad to do this. It’s just what I do. Tarnish resistance like <>9.5K gold. Pool bleach is the worst enemy with this alloy.
25% Palladium Astrium2 - A very nice alloy. Tarnish resistance like 14K gold!
Any questions, just let me know.
Thank you,
