Problem with Foredom H-15 Hammer Handpiece

HELP!! My handpiece suddenly stopped hammering right in the middle of a custom order that I have to get out today! I called Foredom and their only solution was to send it to their repair department.

The plunger pin that holds the tip is sticking out of the top of the handpiece…which seems like something new; I never noticed it before.

Anyone know how to open this thing up and fix this quickly?

I too had a Foredom hammer, after only short 6 months it gave up the ghost.;( I then bought a Bedaco and after 15 years it’s still doing great!

I suggest spending a few more dollars and no need to have hammering problems.

My next essay will be discussing the many uses of this wonderful setting tool!
