Hi, Judy,
I've seen one post on titanium mesh - about $100 for a square
foot. Kinda expensive. But lacking any other input, I think I'll
try a piece.
Personally, I don’t feel a need for a screen (just my titanium V’s)
but if you want to spend some time instead of money, I’d bet you can
get some scrap/broken titanium spokes from a fancy bike shop and
make a grid out of them for soldering on-- thread 'em through some
copper strips. maybe.

I'd like to have a titanium grate for soldering.
You could get a shop that does water jet cutting to cut titanium
sheet to a grate with a design or different size and shape holes.
Some sort of non-conductive screen type of liner for my stainless
steel electro-cleaner pot. Used to prevent the work from
inadvertently shorting out on the pot, would have to be able to
withstand high temperatures. Years ago I had something like that for
the pickle pot…trouble was when the liquid level went down, exposed
part of plastic basket melted…useless long term.
I’ll make one if someone has a good, moldable but somewhat rigid,
heat resistant material in mind.
I don’t like zapping things, sigh
Thanks
