We design and produce craft jewellery in Canada and will be visiting
Tokyo in early November. Is there any specific area / street that
specializes in jewellery supplies / display / materials? We have
visited Tokyo many times over the last 20 years but have not managed
to find any supply outlets (except of course Tokyo Hands).

Hello

Try visiting Okachimachi, you will find suppliers for tools, stones
& precious metal and display materials in various small shops
clustered in this area. You can get there by JR line or by
underground railways. As I live in Tokyo, if the schedule matches,
I’d be happy to spend one afternoon or so to show you around the
area.

Taitoku and Okachimachi are the centers for Jewelry tool supplies.
There are two Yamaguchi brother, Arai and perhaps some new
suplliers. Most of the items that you may want even the ones made in
Japan will be cheaper here. If you are looing for items (very
traditional Japanese) that may not be available here then it is a
different story.

Ask for “Kin-Gin Koguten” (Japanese for Silver and Gold Tools)

Hello,

Are there Jewelry suppliers in Japan selling Beads , Clasps
India/Bali style and standard jewelry supplies? also if they have
online web address?

Apart from Tokya Hands any other leading Jewelry finding suppliers as
we have JK Findings, Magic Novelty or MS Company in the US?
