Flask temperature for casting 22K green gold?

Hi,

This is my first try at casting 22K green gold, and I’m wondering
what the flask temp should be when I take it out of the oven.
According to Tim McCreight, one should have the flask at 300-400
degrees below the melting point of the metal, but the melting point
for 22K is 1724 F. That would mean the flask would have to be in he
range of 1324 -1424. But Tim says you shouldn’t heat a flask over
1250 or it will degrade the investment. Anybody know what to do in
this case? I have some fine filigree in the mold, too.
