I've been a sculptor for over 35 years, doing figurines for the Franklin Mint, the Noble Collection, etc., but I have always admired the works of Faberge and Lalique. At this late stage in my life, I'm trying to become a goldsmith. I've accumulated all the tools now, and have taken some classes in gem setting at the New Approach school (excellent) and enameling at Thompson Enamel with Bill Helwig (excellent), and a course in Rhino 4.0 in Miami. Am now about to cast my first gold piece with my new Rio Grande vacuum caster!
