Easy to follow book on lost wax casting

Hello,

Can anyone recommend an easy-to-follow book on the how-to’s of lost
wax casting? It’s been 20 years since I’ve done it, so I need
something to help me get started again.

Thanks a bunch,
Kia Gardner

Kia, a good basic book is Tim McCreight’s book on casting.

Alma Rands

There is one very thorough book, though a bit dated, that covers
lost wax casting in great detail:

Centrifugal or Lost Wax Jewelry Casting: For Schools, Tradesmen, Craftsmen”. by Murray Bovin. I think they are pretty inexpensive if
you search the internet…

Larry Heyda

Kia:

I invite you to go to my web site woodsmerepress.com and check out
the sample chapter of my book: Lost-Wax Casting: Old, New, and Inexpensive Methods." Or google “lost wax casting” on Amazon.com and
you will find several books on the topic.
