My first take on a pin or brooch. Nevada Blue turquoise with a 0.70ct cushion cut tsavorite garnet in 18K yellow gold.
And a second pin, again with Nevada Blue turquoise, but this time incorporating a curiosity, a hackmanite cab. Hackmanite, a rare form of sodalite, is a phenomenal stone, displaying tenebrescence, or reversible color change.
Initially a milky white, when excited by sunlight or UV, it turns purple. Left in the dark, it reverts back to its base state again.
