Cuff bracelet size chart

Having made several cuff bracelets using the hydraulic press, I
wondered if there is a size chart available showing length of metal
to be cut in accordance to the size of a person’s wrist? Recently I
was in a class where some were making cuff bracelets and it seemed
like such a guessing game, especially for one that is not the average
size person. What is the best way to determine the size of the cuff?
Would it be to measure the area that the cuff is to be worn and
subtract maybe a half inch? I’ve researched the archives and haven’t
really seen an answer, unless I missed it.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Susan

I have in my hand a “Jewelry Makers Scale” from Raytech. It is a
great tool. 6 inch/ plus Millimeter on one side and the Bracelet and
Ring Gauge on the other side. The Naja, our local supply store in
Denver, has them!
