I have been reading with interest on some jewelers’ forums about the
recent Zalecorp national repair increase. While a substantial retail
increase has been instituted to reflect current metal prices, there
has been no increase in the amount being paid their wholesale bench
jewelers, the ones who carry the cost of the metal market. If any
