does anyone know if these are good companies zak tools and pepe tools to buy from any feedback please
I have had no problems with Pepe Tools. But I am looking at brands that Pepe may represent. I have no experience with Zak.

Yep Zak Tools is here in NYC’s diamond district. It’s been around a long time, and it’s perfectly legit. That said, some of the people who work there are extremely unpleasant, and I avoid shopping there. In fact, the last time I was there the manager (owner?) was fully SCREAMING at an employee who has worked there for years. It was wildly uncomfortable. A lady came out from the office and joined in the fight with them both. I’ve never seen anything quite like it- and that’s really saying something for 47th St! I don’t plan to go back ever again unless I’m truly desperate for something same day. (Mike though, is a super nice and helpful guy. I hope he found a better job. I always waited for him to help me rather than deal with the other people’s attitudes.)
I’ve been purchasing from Pepe for years. They sell quality products at industry norm costs. I typically buy the lion’s share of my products from Rio Grande only because I think their customer service is outstanding! If you happen to run across someone who doesn’t have the answer you’re looking for they hook you up with one of their technicians. THAT’S who has the answers! I love talking to these folks and have to say, I learn something from them every time! If you ever get the opportunity to talk to Riccardo, pick his mind… he’s fascinating, I can chat with him all day!!
I have purchased tools from PEPE and had a good experience doing it. Like many of us, Rio seems to get a lot of my business, but when I can find something at a smaller specialty vendor they get my business. Cool Tools get my enameling and metal clay business. I buy resin from a number of suppliers. I have purchased abrasive tools from Gesswein and Otto Frei is always a good place to look for comparables and they have good sales. We don’t need another Amazon…Rob
I agree. I’m good with Pepe tools but not aware of the other brand
I am caught up on my orders and there is enough snow outside to bring most things to a hault including a doctor’s appointment and luncheon that I had scheduled. I decided to take an in-depth tour of the Cool Tools website. They carry tools, materials and supplies that you don’t find on a lot of the usual websites that we go to. I especially like their collection of abrasive tools and how to videos. I have purchased a lot of my enameling tools from them. They are real easy to work with and usually answer my questions very quickly. Take a look and know that I in no way benefit from suggesting that you do so. I hope that you all had a good Thanksgiving. I am very excited about the new ebike that I ordered, not that I will be riding it any time soon. Stay warm…Rob
