YES, tho it depends on you being left-handed and the last action
you did with the dish-mop was to swirl the water slightly in a
counter clockwise direction. Otherwise NO. Unless you are
right-handed and you swirled the water as if you were
left-handed. Unless …

They all try this out, our visitors from the other side of the
planet :wink:

(It’s the Chaos theory more than magnetic doo-dahs, I believe)

G’day again: There has been quite a bit of to-ing and fro-ing
over this idea, but the general concenus of opinion from those
who ought to know (as in New Scientist journal etc, who have
actually researched the concept) that the rotation of flow
depends upon a whole swag of variables, but that after careful
measurements and observation, there is no difference in the
average direction of flow in either hemisphere. Cheers,
