Hi, all–
A couple of weeks ago, someone referred to the deity who protects us
from our own stupidity. I posted back (though I think maybe it
didn’t get online, but no matter) asking if anyone had a name for
this protector that I, for one, lean on so heavily. The subject came
up yesterday in class, and one of my students said that our
intercessor is actually a patron saint-- St Upid. Works for me!
