Oh Deb, please don’t say that I turn 42 on Sunday I have a six,
four and almost two year old. I’m newly single AND I am just
beginning to do what I have wanted to do for a long time: work in
metal. This is prime time girlfriend. So what if you burned a
little gas. I bet your car started the next a.m. Mia
Mia…HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I’m in the same boat as you are and
I’m paddling as fast as I can, but I am SO grateful and excited
about being here!
Everybody…This seems like the perfect opportunity to say
how very grateful I am to have found you. I am learning lots (and
that’s great cuz I have lots to learn) Lately I have laughed til
I cried over some of the “stupid” accident stories. My children
think I’ve lost it. But at the risk of sounding mushy…ya’ll
have given me the impetus I needed to really get going. THANKS!

Oh yes, my car started fine. Happy Birthday! I’m not
complaining about being 42, I am happier than I have ever been.
I took the leap into fulltime metalsmithing at the age of 40.
Best thing I ever did. I hope you find the same pleasure in that
I do. I plan to be a bizarre little old lady toiling away in my
studio until I take my very last breath.
