Learn how to make small billets of mokume gane which can easily be
fired with a minimum of tools and equipment. Copper and silver will
be used; but students wishing to work with gold and silver may do so
by contacting the instructor ahead of time. The third day will focus
on the variety of ways this material can be patterned and used to
make jewelry. Students will leave the workshop with a thorough
understanding of the processes and techniques necessary to make
torch-fired mokume gane.
