[Workshop] Thomas Mann in New Orleans

Be a part of the rebirth of the New Orleans Arts Community

Thomas Mann is pleased to announce the first workshop ever conducted
in his New Orleans studio.

The Ogden Museum of Southern Art, Center for Southern Craft and
Design will sponsor The Found Object Sandwich workshop in conjunction
with the opening of

Tom’s Storm Cycle exhibition at the Ogden Museum during New Orleans’
White Linen Night (an annual summer event of the New Orleans Arts
District Association).

The Details:

The Found Object Sandwich The Photo Assemblage Brooch Skill Levels:
Beginner to Advanced This workshop offers the opportunity to explore
the design concepts and fabrication techniques important to an
assemblage approach to jewelry making. Mann will lead the workshop
participants in the creation of their own found object creations.
Work directly alongside with Tom in his personal environment and learn
how and where he gets the inspiration for his creations.
