Hello all,
For anyone who lives near Oakland, CA, and has an interest in
learning about enameling:
The Crucible is offering an Introduction to Enameling class on
Wednesday afternoons, from 3-6. This is a five week course, beginning
on Feb 3rd, and ending March 3rd. Lots will be covered, including
technical and various wet and dry application techniques.
We will be working primarily on copper, but enameling on prepared
steel will be touched upon.
Registration is online through the Crucible’s website,

The Crucible is a non-profit educational facility that fosters a
collaboration of Arts, Industry, and Community. It’s a wonderful
resource for arts collaboration in the bay area, and has a
well-equipped jewelry studio as well as great enameling facilities.
