MSG Workshop: Two Days with the Da Silvas: with Jack and Marilyn Da
Silva (form and color)
As the Michigan Silversmiths Guild concludes it’s 2 year series on
color and form we are pleased to welcome Jack and Marilyn Da Silva.
This husband and wife duo are both nationally recognized in both the
art and educational communities. The two day tandem workshop will
offer insight into both form and color that can be put into studio
practice instantly. We look forward to this weekend; hope you will
be able to join us.
Two Days with the Da Silvas: with Jack and Marilyn Da Silva
In this two day workshop you will be divided into two groups. Group A
will spend the Frst day with Marilyn experimenting with
non-traditional color exploration. Group B will will spend the Frst
day with Jack as he demonstrates anticlastic and synclastic forming
for jewelry. On day two, the groups will switch places and spend the
day with the other Da Silva. Marilyn and Jack have given this
workshop across the country. It allows each participant to gain
on both techniques during the two days. Come join the
fun.
Time: 9AM - 5PM
Place: The College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI - Metals

Cost: $275 for both days for members and $325 for non-members
