[Workshop] Harold O'Connor workshop

Class Details:
Five days, Monday - Friday, 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Open to all skill levels
Cost is $525 (plus a $60 materials fee)

Class will take place in the Ah Haa School in Telluride, Colorado
This course introduces participants to various techniques employed
to enhance the richness of metal surfaces. Students will learn the
art of creasing, folding, hollow construction, reticulation, fine
gold-over-sterling silver lamination and roller embossing. Efficient
studio methods and flexible shaft machine uses will be taught. Gold
and silver granulation will also be introduced. Space is limited so

Educated in the United States, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Austria
and Mexico Harold O’Connor has been a Goldsmith and teacher for over
40 years. He= is the author of The Jeweler’s Bench Reference and The
Flexible Shaft Mach= ine - Jewelry Techniques. He has facilitated
over
200 workshops in 14 countries including Portugal, Japan, Korea, New
Zealand, Canadian Artic and Peru. His works are in collections
including the Goldsmith’s Hall, London; The Metropolitan Museum of
Art, New York and the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C.
