“6 Clasps – Beyond the “S” Hook”

Dunedin Fine Art Center, at the beautifully appointed Sterling
Center Campus jewelry studio (cafe, pub, bead shop in same
building…) Dunedin, Florida Learn how to make 6 different 2-part
catches in two fast paced days. The clasps will be divided into Cold
Connection constructions and Solder Joint Connection constructions.
Pattern design and layout will be covered. ie. Change the scale and
make a belt buckle! Experienced students will have the opportunity
to push their imaginations to modify the 6 basic clasp designs into
a work of art or an engineering marvel. Overnight accommodations
within walking distance. Included are practice metals, and detailed
instruction booklet.
