I am planning on attending a workshop to study Chasing & Repousse
just outside of Florence, Italy this coming Apri 16-22. Anyone

The group meets Saturdayevening April 15th. The place, where we stay
is called Poggio di Montepescoli near Pontassieve, only 20 km east
of Florence. Participants stay in several comfortable apartments with
bath and kitchen facilities This settlement of a wine and olive
grower rests on top of a Hill overlooking the Arno Valley - very
beautiful! On Sunday we first have time to discover the
surroundings, prepare for the classes in the later afternoon and
visit a old village very nea in the evening and have dinner there.
Monday we start working with Fabrizio Aquafresco, who speaks very
well english and is a superp teacher in chased works he learned in
Florence. On Tuesday we take the train to Florence. With Fabrizio we
visit local silverware producers. In the afternoon participants are
free to visits places of interest (Museums asf) individually.In the
evening we meet again to have dinner in a traditional italian
restaurant and return to Montepescoli. From Wedsnesday until Friday
we continue chased work lessons. Saturday, April 22nd. is departure
day.
The Price of Euro 780.-includes classes with Fabrizio in a very nice
and well equipped studio about 6 hours a day (Monday and Wesnesday
to Friday) 7 nights accomodation in doublerooms with breakfast and
italian lunch every day. It incudes also the train trip and guide to
and in florence.
Not included are travel expenses to and from Homeplace to
Montepescoli, insurance, evening meals and Silver for chasing. ((Euro
0.90 per gramm).
