[Workshop] Anticlastic/Synclastic forming

Alberta College of Art and Design presents an introductory workshop
to the techniques of shell forming. Through a slide lecture examining
the origins of Anticlastic / Synclastic forming, demonstrations and
hands on work, students will find their own way of working with
Anitclastic / Synclastic forming and will produce their own samples
of wearable art and or sculptural pieces.

Prerequisite :
Students must have a basic understanding of jewellery construction
including soldering, and must be comfortable hammering metals
extensively.

Spring - Friday, saturday, sunday, May 5, 6 and 7, 2006

Time- 7:00pm - 10:00 pm Friday
9:00 am - 5:00 pm Saturday and Sunday.

Fee- 185$ +GST (15 hours)
