My name is William Howat, and I make one-of-a-kind jewelry art featuring gemstone cabochons and sterling silver. My small retail business, Bill’s Jewelry, is located in North Port, Florida. I have also participated in craft shows in Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte, and have had my jewelry in retail stores from time to time.
I have successfully completed jewelry classes in piercing, soldering, and chain making at the North Bennett Street School of Boston, Massachusetts. I have also been certified for cutting cabochons by the Florida Gold Coast Gem and Mineral Society located in Plantation, Florida. I am an active member of the Southwest Florida Fossil Club and sometimes incorporate fossil elements into my creations.
