Hi all. I just subscribed to this list. I am very excited to
participate and learn from the discussions. I am finishing up my
BFA this semester at Temple University, Tyler School of Art
(finally!!!)
I am taking a plastics class in the metals studio and I was
wondering if anyone uses polyester resins. I am curious as to the
applications this is used for. Our professor had the brilliant
idea to have each student write a chapter on a specific plastic.
The chapters would then be combined into a manual for future
students.
My assigned topic is polyester and I thought it would be helpful
to include a section on what the artist could actually USE the
stuff for - in addition to all the technical they
will probably never read
