Wholesale shows>

Oh, please, if the rest of the list doesn’t mind too terribly, I
would be very interested in this thread (on-line)! I, too, have
been ruminating about this and wonder if it might be a better
route {spell that as same or better overall income, fewer shows
(whew!), more exposure} than the retail shows. Thanks for asking

Nancy - I have done Wholesale/Retail shows in the past (mostly
the ACC shows). I would suggest that you do a little research
into the shows that you are interested in. Attend the show once
before you decide to do it. Look at the quality of the work there
and take note of the way people put their booths together. Get a
feel as to what price range crafts people are selling their work.
After a bit of time and thought, you should get a feel as to how
your work will fit in and what kind of display you should have.
Don’t be afraid of asking questions. Some people might not want
to talk, but most are willing to help someone new.
