The ceramic heating surface of my Ultra Light kiln has Prip’s flux
on it. It still heats with no problem, but when fusing silver I add
more heat from a minitorch. Then the hotter sections stick to the
ceramic.
Prip’s has boron compounds…have I invented a new kind of hot
glue–molten glass? And how do I get rid of it?
