What is the name of this pattern of bracelet is this?

Hey gang, I saw this style of bracelet on YouTube a while ago and have been wanting to make it. I failed a few times as I found the right dimensions for the parts. But I finally completed it between work and family duties.

I’m curious if y’all know what this pattern is called?

Also, if you have critiques, I’d love to hear them (especially if you can couch them in some kind words :joy: ).

Hi,
Hooray for you!
Very impressive work! I love the clasp, as it blends quite nicely. I had to stare at the end/ ball bar for a second to understand it.

so, are the triple link sections all connected by ONE piece of wire that is woven in and out?..or…is each connector separate…?..a puzzle!

i love chains. that one is very special!

Thanks! Yeah I tried and failed twice at a box clasp last night and whipped this out to finish it. I like it better actually. I got it from the ganoksin learning area.

Here’s the YouTube video for anyone else wanting to see what I saw:

I opted for three instead of five links. I’m glad I did. Wouldn’t want it heavier.

Hi,

I was just thinking how your clasp really ties back to the design!

That’s a beautiful bracelet! I’d guess it’s a variant of a Pantera chain based on the description in Tim McCreight’s Complete Metalsmith.

Ah I appreciate that! Thank yiu

Would you post a picture of the inside of the bracelet? I’d love to see more of how it was made.

Very nice work. And I agree about the clasp. I like making small mechanical Jimmy’s. Especially when they work as planned.

Absolutely. Hope this is legible. Ask any questions you have.

The YouTube video I posted above really explains it well too.

Yeah super satisfying to have it work on the first try but I’m hoping to make a slicker version for the second one.

lots of hard tedious work, paid off well in a beautiful piece of work… congrants!
