Hi, I’ve been making beaded jewelry for the past 4 years. Now I’m
moving into metal work. I look forward to what I can learn from this
group. Paula

I work for a jewelry designer in San Francisco, we are looking
forward to using ganoksin and orchid forums as a resource for our
business and a place to learn and share.

I have been doing jewelry for 25 years. I tuck a break from doing
jewelry for about 8 to 9 years to build computer based learning
modules in math, communication arts and social studies. And then
facilitate the modules in the educational community to help kids do
better on the state test. But in the educational community, being
good is not important. So, I have returned to the art of making
jewelry.

I have my on studio in which I invest, burnout, cast and finish my
castings. I do repair work and stone setting. And this time around, I
have learned to build 3D objects and convert them to STL files for
rapid prototyping. However the cost of a wax pattern from a file
that has been rapidly prototyped is a great-deal higher than the
price I am use to paying for a wax pattern - from a pattern house.
So I am in need of a rapid prototyping service that is cost
effective.

Thank you for this website, Charles
