Sarah Winling

I am a goldsmith who is recently changing up things a bit and going
in a different direction. Going from fine jewelry to costume. More
of a crystal line.

Barbara Agnes Conje
Malak, Northern Territory. Australia

I retired from work nine years ago, and now find myself very busy
with craft work, mainly wire work (chains, coiling etc), beading and
polymer clay. I’ve taken two six-week Sterling Silver jewellery
night classes through the our Craft Association and find myself
gradually using more sterling silver for “good” jewellery rather
than plated wires, though I still love using copper and, to a lesser
extent, brass. I’m very interested in using Argentium silver.

Susan O Bates
Joeltn, TN. USA

I am an entry level hobbiest in the jewelry/metalworking area. After
one class, I was hooked and am now seeking more education and
experience. Use of tools, such as torches, drills, etc. is
challenging. My purpose in signing up for Ganoksin is exposure to
the vast experience of members.

Wenda Florence Debicki
Ancaster, ON. Canada

I am currently making lampwork and metal clay beads and jewelry. I
am a student in the Jewelry and Silversmithing program at Mohawk
College Ontario. I am 55 years old with a background in painting and
pottery. Jewelry is fairly new to me.

I have been in business almost 40 years first in London and SE
England. I moved to Australia in 1982 settling about 100k North of
Sydney. I have been working with Gold and Silver making jewellery of
all descriptions and the occasional piece of silversmithing. I was
trained as a silversmith in Scotland and Denmark in the early 1960s.
Also I have been designing and making a growing range of rings in
titanium and 18ct gold for about 20 years.

I also have been teaching in various colleges. Recently the TAFE
system in Sydney. I hope to contribute notes on processes and tools I
have developed over the years.
