I started beading as a teenager and began making silver jewelry with
a plumbers torch 20 years ago. I now have a well equipped home
studio and actually sell what I make. Ganoksin has been really
important to me for several years.For some reason I changed my

I am a graduate of the Alberta College of Art and Design (ACAD) with
a major in metals. For many years after graduating I was primarily a
painter. In the past ten years I have returned to jewellry making -
at first mostly wire jewellry - but now I am exploring forging and
fold forming.
I am fortunate to live on Salt Spring Island and to participate in
the Saturday market which runs seven months of the year and attracts
people from all over the world.
