I started my jewelry career by taking an M.S. degree at SUNY New
Paltz in the 70’s. I worked at home, did local crafts shows, &
wholesaled to local stores. I was recommended to a Lg. chain of Mall
jewelry stores to do bench repairs on site. I worked there one day a
week and at 2 other stores. Worke d from home resetting diamonds
(engagement rings), &general repairs.

Left jewelry making in 1987 to go back to teaching art & comp.
graphics. Retired in '06 and within the last year got back into
jewelry making, now in Florida. Taking classes from some special
jewelers and enjoying the one of a kind designing. Also, very
enthusiastic about metal bead making after ta king a class with
Pauline Warg. After so much commercial work, I am learning about
newer tools, chemicals, processes, etc. Want to learn channel &
beadsetting-

Love the learning and want to take more specialized classes!

I am 25, and have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Metals from Ball State
University.

I have actually been receiving the digest on an old e-mail address,
and am re-subscribing with my new address, so I have been around for
a little while now!

I’ve been working in the trade for twenty years. I now run my own
tradeshop and retail store where we do everything from stone setting
to casting. We keep our prices low for those in the trade. We can
usually have most jobs done in a weeks time. I’m looking forward to
possibly doing business with you! Please call today. 716-525-1116 or
