Hello Ganoksin, I am a beginning metal smithing student, learning the
basics of fabrication. Silver is my joy, and my respect for copper
grows. I am starting to enamel, love reticulation, and I see that I
am at the beginning of a long and satisfying journey. Chris Finch

I am a semi retired R.N. who only within the past year became
interested in and began creating different types of jewelry. I have
accumulated a fair amount of supplies and am always adding and
learning new techniques. Wire and wire wrapping has seemed to be the
most challenging and therefore the most interesting thus far. I have
acquired some basic metal clay supplies and am eager to work with it
now.

In the past I have probably learned and done most every possible
craft with the exception of making pottery. I freely admit to
joining for all I can learn and hope along the way I might also
contribute.

I am fairly new to the jewelry making world. I started out working
with silver so that I could make horn caps, conchos and other silver
work for saddles and bridles that I make. Turns out I love working
with metals and stones. I am not a total stranger to metal work, as
I have also been a sculptor for the past 15 years. What I really love
are the fine details and working on a small scale. I also like being
able to fabricate all elements of the pieces I am working on from
sheet to ring, etc… I have just started my business, and look to
grow it in the coming years.
