While in college I majored in Fashion Design. For a short time I
worked in the industry but did not like it. After years in retailing
the insurance industry and Interior Design I discovered beads,
pearls and design. My Fashion degree finally found a home. I have
always been a creative person and been drawn towards the arts.
My daughter and I started our company several years ago. While Lucie
does not work in the industry any longer my interest and thirst for
knowledge continue to grow.
Over the past few years I have been learning the art of
metalworking. I love working with silver and gold. My goal is to
incorporate my bead work with my metal-smithing. In the meantime, I
am having fun attending classes and learning new skills.
