30 years silversmithing as my sole livelihood; now retired except
for special pleadings. Specialized in fabricated rings, pendants,
neckpieces, etc, most with cabochons. Did lots of juried art fairs
in the upper midwest; 2008 was my last good year, by 2011 sales had
dropped over 50%, so I shut down the website, credit card
processing, sales tax permits, and mothballed a lot of inventory.
Still go to shows as an observer, and do a few special orders for
small change.
