I am currently re-inventing my life as an artist, after retiring at
a young age. After attending art college over a couple of years, I
discovered my true passion, "making jewellery " I have always loved
design and working with tools on precision projects. Discovering
chainmaille was the introduction I needed to make me thirsty for
more. I have several wonderful teachers and mentors and have been
spending the last 6 months learning whatever I can about
metalsmithing.
So far, I predominately have worked in silver and have had success
selling quite a few pieces. I don’t think you should ever stop
learning, you just need to find what interests you.
