Ginger Burris

I have been making jewelry for several years. I like to work with
silver, but have done some work with copper, brass and gold. I like
to incorporate beads and fabric into my work when possible. I have
been luck and found many pieces of equipment used. Recently I found
a rolling mill at a garage sale! I hope to learn more techniques. I
live in Florida.

Rene Roberts
Little River, CA. USA

Formerly a glass beadmaker, I now largely work with etched and
electroformed copper. I make enameled wall pieces and jewelry, and
electroformed sculptural objects. I have a passion for color and
patinas.

I make jewelry from a variety of mediums including metal clay (Silver
PMC, Copper, bronze, white bronze) natural stones and beads, Hill
Tribe Silver and glass beads. My inspiration comes from nature that
is all around me. My vision for most of my jewelry is to make pieces
that you can put on and forget about as you go about your daily
activities. For a lot of my pieces I use tough nylon and polyester
cords that will stand up to water, sweat and sunscreen so there is no
need to take off your necklace before you jump in the lake or pool. I
am always seeing new techniques that I want to try! I am also a wife
an mother and I work full-time as an editor, so my time to create is
more limited than I would like.
