Michelle Casson
Cleveland, Tennessee. USA

I am a member of several jewelry related groups. I am a wife and
mother. I am in the process of trying to start my own little shop
whether it be in the real world or internet based for now I am
unsure of the way to go. I look forward to watching and learning
from all of you. And prehaps I may eventually be able to teach as
well.

Stephen John Boudreau
Plano, Texas. USA

I am new to jewelry making and have only tanken four classes at the
Craft Guild of Dallas. I have a degree in Architectural Engineering
and own a commercial construction company. Jewelry making provides a
great outlet for my creative side.

Maickel JTM Bellegem, van

Metals conservator
London, UK

Born and raised in the Netherlands. Formally trained as a goldsmith
(Vakschool, Schoonhoven) and as a metals conservator (Netherlands
Institute for Cultural Heritage in Amsterdam). After graduation in
2003 I worked for Het Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam and also as a freelance
conservator for other museums. Throughout the years I continued to
make silverware, jewellery and sculptures. In 2005 I starting at the
British Museum as a metals conservator. Since then I have
participated in fieldwork with the Syddansk Universitet for the
underwater recording of the hull structure of a Tudor shipwreck and
with the Butrint Foundation for the conservation of metal objects
and coins recently excavated at the site of Butrint, Albania.
Overall I have a special interest in silverware and jewellery,
Japanese metalwork, underwater archaeology, scientific analysis of
materials and historical manufacture techniques.

I don’t really write about myself very well. I’m fairly new to the
jewelry industry. I’ve been doing repairs on and off since I
finished jewelry school a few years ago. I make specialty chains and
I’m just starting to get into CAD/CAM stuff.

Beth Simon
Franconia, NH. USA

I have been making jewelry for 15 years or so after a gift of raw
materials and metalsmithing tools and mostly self-taught. Currently
I co-manage a League of NH Craftsmen Gallery in Littleton, NH and
also schedule the jewelry/metals classes in the school associated
with the gallery.
