Hi everyone my name is Mary Plewes. I am in need of your assistance.
I would like to become a Jeweler. I know the basic from what i have
studied from this wonderful site and from books, but need I need to
be in a teaching environment. I am a “hands on” learner and reading
about subjects is not enough. I have began collecting hand tools and
material and even lapidary equipment. My husband has given up his
weight-room as a work shop for me.
I need help in financing my education. I am fundraising to go to
Jewlery school at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. It is
a two year course with the option of becoming a Silversmith and
Goldsmith in four years time. The amount needed for the first year
is $5000.00
This first year covers all the hands on lessons i will need to know
to help create. I know it’s a lot of money and I apologize for
asking. I do have a personal fundraising site i’d like you to read
