Now new to Orchid, just back after a long absence. I work with
enamel on copper. Mostly production work. I love the
non-traditional, high fire look, even leaving fire scale in place
most times. I also work with silver but not on a production basis.

I am an interior designer that has always loved jewelry. I had 2
jewelry making classes in college, basic metal working and casting.
I am semi retired and have gone back to my love of making jewelry. I
love working with wire and natural minerals, crystals in the rough
as well as faceted stones. I also love all art glass, Tiffany to Dale
Chahuly.

Hello! I am new to making jewelry and have lots of questions! I am a
librarian by day, so I only get nights and weekends to work on my
designs. I recently acquired my first professional torch (a Smith
Little Torch) and have been building up my tools slowly over the
past two years.

Thank you for the great Kat

I started making handcrafted jewelry over 1 year ago. I can’t seem to
get enough and have an unsatiable appetite for learning more relating
to the craft. I am looking forward to reading and asking questions. I
stumbled upon this forum and am very excited to learn all I can
absorb!
