I am a gem & mineral collector on a small scale (I have one room in
my house dedicated to “rocks”) and belong to 2 gem clubs in SoCal
and am on the board of both. One of these clubs is the North Orange
County Gem & Mineral Society which hosted the National and
California Federation show this la st June. I’m also a Federation
Director for the Downey club. I bead, wire-wrap, and have done
silversmithing and other lapidary work.
I’m also President of a large garden club in Whittier, Ca. I grow
and sell plants at the shows of the 2 gem clubs I’m involved in for
the benefit of the club.
