Anita Roelz
The Creative Turtle
Boothbay Harbor, Maine. USA

My partner and I own a fine art gallery and studio in beautiful
Boothbay Harbor, Maine. We sell her paintings and my jewelry. I am
fairly new to the metalsmithing and work in silver combined with my
beaded designs. My work is organic/rustic and simple by design. I
gravitate to oxidized metals and natural stones. I am fascinated by
multi colored and tonal variations in stones of all kinds as well as
beach stones, sea glass & shells. I have just completed my first
jewelry & metalsmithing class at Maine College of Art and am
inspired to create new work. I am still in process of setting up my
bench and adding new tools all the time.
