The first piece of jewelry I owned was a solitaire diamond ring that
belonged to my eldest sister. I didn’t know it was an engagement
ring, an engagement that went sour. It was the most beautiful ring
in the eyes of a 9-year old. Since then, I’ve been fascinated with
sparkling jewelry. It would be a long time before I owned another
piece. This was when I’m already employed, earning enough to buy me
the most affordable ones…
