I am new to Foldforming and the world of metals, hammers, torches,
chemicals and the most fascinating tools and techniques. (Have the
privilege of studying with Charles Lewton-Brain.) I have worked with
pen, quill, ink, paper, letters, gold and watercolors for 35 years,
having taught most of that time nationally and internationally in the
field of lettering, illumination, color and design. Interested in
creating wall art or table sculpture capturing nature, properties of
the metal, color, emotion, imagination, and perhaps incorporating
letters into some of the works. Currently making paper hammers, and
testing them for durability and performance. Thus far, they are
great and do the job. (Like a velvet hammer!) Denys
