After the passing of my father in September of 2008, I gladly
accepted his wish that I take over his silversmithing collection of
tools, materials, and limited inventory. My only regret is not
having spent time with him watching and learning as he labored over
his jewerly work over the years. Consequently, I’m now one year into
my new love of silversmithing, but doing so on a ‘learn as you go’
basis. I think I’ve found my life’s calling, outside of my career in
broadcasting, and can’t wait to see where this new world takes me.
