I was born in the heart of the Cape, South Africa,surrounded by
mountains,sun,sea and the most diverse floral kingdom. Hilda was
raised with an instinct for big, bold, organic and rustic
statements, which reflects in my work. My artistic awakening came
after marrying a fine artist. Drawing inspiration from creation, and
his art, I create individual pieces, as well as my “Caprivi Range”
based on African wilderness, my “Omega Twist Range” based on the
waves of the sea and my “Splatz Range” based on the African sun. My
pieces are primarily made in sterling silver,(with some featuring
gold),copper and brass. My work also includes semi precious stones
from Africa and Asia.
