Wired Up Beads
Southlake, TX. USA
I have always loved and collected tools. After learning to make
jewelry, I realized that there was a need for tools that are made
specifically for making jewelry. This led to the fun task of
developing a unique line of tools named Wubbers (named after my
business Wired Up Beads, or WUB for short). In addition, Wired Up
Beads is the inspiration for Wired up Beads University (WUB U),
which is a teaching studio located in Southlake, Texas. I enjoy
silversmithing, lampworking, glass fusing, and beading. Most of all,
I love interacting, sharing, and collaborating with other jewelry
makers.

Yleana A Martinez
Watertown, MA. USA
Beginning jeweler studying primarily at Metalwerx in Waltham, MA. I
currently work in copper and silver, with an appreciation for the
artistry of Mexican silversmiths and the work of Georg Jensen and
other Scandinavian metalsmiths. I’m also an avid collector of
antique glass and metal buttons, and am constantly trying to think of
ways to use these tiny works of art as jewelry.

Hi, I’m Jonna, and I’m delighted to become a part of the Ganoksin
network. I’ve been working with metal for about 12 years now. My
primary medium is metal clay but I also love fabrication. I’ve been
lucky to have many fine teachers with Deb Jemmott in San Diego, CA,
being my mentor in this area. I look forward to learning from you all
and hope I’ll be able to make a contribution as well.

participants and look forward to sharing what I can as well. I am
back teaching at the local college and made visiting Ganoksin one of
my student’s web assignments. They all brought in great articles that
got me hooked again-Thanks again for this great forum for
